The Youth Development Fund (YDF) is a FIBA Europe program aimed to support eligible youth basketball projects and the participation of youth national teams of the 50 European National Federations.
To participate in the YDF program, each federation-applicant must meet the eligibility criteria set by the Board of FIBA Europe.
All projects are developed in partnership between FIBA Europe and the National Federation and, therefore co-funded with FIBA Europe providing 70% of the funds and the federation 30%.

The YDF projects present an excellent opportunity for all European National Federations to attract new youngsters to basketball and raise awareness about our sport across the continent. Involving the schools, local clubs, and communities and targeting the U13 age group, girls and boys, is a key focus of the program that will bring more players and fans to basketball.
